Stephanie and Mark’s Wedding Day

Stephanie and Mark were married at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and had their reception at the gorgeous Crystal Ballroom in the Rice Hotel. It has been an immense pleasure getting to know them over the past 6 months, and I really hope we continue building our friendship. Man, I had fun at their wedding! Everything was perfect, they both looked incredible, and were so much fun to be around. Thanks guys!

Julie and JD

More engagement photos (and more to come)!! Julie was a referral from another client of mine, and when she was showing JD my website, he was like, “Hey, I know that guy!”. He and I played soccer together for several years when we were in high school. There’s that whole small world thing again.

Anyway, they were a lot of fun to work with, and afterwards JD told me it wasn’t nearly as painful as he was expecting I think people (guys especially) have these traumatic memories of being dressed up when they were kids and taken to the evil portrait photographer who poked and prodded them for endless hours of torture. I have those same memories too, so I try to make it fun for everyone!

Stephanie and Paul

Paul and I knew each other from high school, and he found me again through facebook while looking at another client of mine’s wedding photos. It turns out his Fiancee, Stephanie, is friends with the soon-to-be-sister-in-law of another of my clients, who is also using me for her wedding (Hey Patty!!). Sound complicated? Just another reminder of how darn small this world is. I am really excited about shooting Paul and Stephanie’s wedding in July. We had a great time shooting at Herman Park, and then enjoyed a great dinner at the Italian restaurant, Buca di Beppo.

Miree and Chris Engagement

Ok, this is soooooo late. Oh well. I’ve been super busy lately. Look for a few more posts today and tomorrow.

Miree and Chris were one of the lucky couples that won an engagement session from me at the Bridal Extravaganza in July. We went down to G-town and grabbed some really great shots on the strand and on the beach.

Some of you, my previous clients, may have met Clint. He is my good friend and a fellow photographer who I often hire as a a second shooter. Last weekend, before a wedding, I asked him to hop on stage so I could check the lighting, and he jumped up there and struck this hilarious pose. Something about his pose, the dramatic lighting, and the enormous back-lit cross makes me laugh everytime I look at it.
