Happy Halloween! (Rawwwwrrrr!)

Posted on October 31, 2009

At least I’m pretty sure that’s the noise a dragon makes. This morning we visited the little pumpkin patch at St. Lukes. Here’s Caden Rawwwrrrring at us because he did NOT like the idea of sitting on the wet grass while leaning up against cold, slippery pumpkins.

To get a semi-happy-face we had to hold him.

And maybe a few kisses helped…

Everyone have a fun and safe Halloween!!! Love Caden, Kacie, and Adam :)

Courtney’s Bridal Portraits – Crystal Ballroom at the Post Rice Lofts

Posted on October 22, 2009

Another gorgeous photo session with a gorgeous bride at the Rice Lofts downtown. I really loved Courtney and Tyler’s engagement session, so I knew her bridals would be great! She looked beautiful and confident, and the images really capture that! Enjoy some of my favorites!

Thanks for a great shoot, Courtney! I’m looking forward to the wedding!

Krystal and Andrew’s Engagements – Discovery Green – Houston, TX

Posted on October 14, 2009

Krystal and Andrew and I had a rockin’ shoot! We started off with a couple drinks at The Grove, started our shoot in Discovery Green, and finished up in the warehouse district. I really like that combination of locations because you get a little bit of everything, and it’s all very close together. Krystal and Andrew were naturals and together we made some great images! Check it out.

Thanks for looking! And please, feel free to leave a comment!

Jessica and Jay’s Engagements – Hermann Park – Houston, TX

Posted on October 13, 2009

Jessica and jay are a really great couple and they were a lot of fun to photograph! We took their engagement portraits at Hermann Park, and these two were pros! You really couldn’t take a bad picture of them, and they both knew how to throw the looks. Here are a few of my favorites!

They asked if they could bring their puppy along for the shoot. He was really cute.

Hello baby blues.

Probably my favorite from the shoot.

But I like this one too…

And this one!

Ok. Maybe this one is my favorite. :)

PS- I tried something different on this post with the image border color. What do you think?

Jennifer’s Bridals

You just can’t go wrong with a beautiful bride like Jennifer in a beautiful place like Paraiso Maravilla! We had a great time on her shoot! Enjoy some of my favorites below, and feel free to leave a comment if you like what you see!

Gorgeous!

Jennifer brought her “ring bearer” along to be included in a few poses :)

Shannon and Joe – The Woodlands, TX

Posted on October 2, 2009

Wow. This was a fun wedding! From the beginning Shannon warned me how crazy everyone was, but I think she was actually understating it. :) Shannon and Joe’s families, friends, and everyone at this wedding definitely knew how to have a good time, and everyone on the dance floor they definitely kept Blake and I on our toes! There was always something crazy happening!

Anyway, Shannon and Joe were married at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and held their reception at The Woodlands resort and conference center, where Amber, one of the coordinators there, made sure everything went great! Below are some of my favorites from the day!

I thought it was funny that they added “seriously”. Good thing, otherwise Joe might have tried to bust in :)

While the girls got ready, Joe and some friends hung out at the pool.

I’m really not sure what Erin was doing here…

Shannon and her mom. So sweet!

I loved her bouquet.

Always love that “first look” shot! Blake caught this one.

Did I mention the bridal party was a little crazy?

Erin and her fiancee do a CRAZY GOOD “Love Shack” performance. Seriously. It’s good.

THE SLIDESHOW!
