Welcome
Hey. My name is Adam. I'm a wedding and portrait photographer in Houston, TX. This blog is where I post images from every shoot, as well share stories and pictures from my personal life. In addition to geeking out over photography, I’ll post other random bits that I find interesting. If you like my photography, make sure to check out my main website, nyholt.com. If this site is like my works-in-progress, that site is my finished portfolio (where you can also learn more about the services I offer). Thanks again for visiting, and if you like what you see, please leave a comment!
Framed!!!
Posted on October 24, 2006
There are definite advantages to being a photographer and having a beautiful wife. One is that you are never short of a great model when you’re feeling creative. I started off working on creating typical model “head shots”, but got bored, so tried some other stuff. I call this shot “framed” for obvious reasons. Shot in the studio against a white backdrop with one strobe equipped with a 22″ pan-reflector angled 45Ëš to camera-right. A white bounce card provided fill opposite the strobe, and another strobe lit the backdrop.
