I Love.

I love Jesus. My wife. My son. Family. Friends. Coffee. Apple computers. Fancy watches. Loud sound systems. My iPad. Deep dish pizza. Chocolate chip cookies. Gummy candy. Mountain biking. Soccer. Shoot-em-up movies. Movies that make you think. Books. Designer clothes. Flashy shoes. Words. Geeky comic strips. Nerdy jokes. Music. Beauty. Relationships. Art.

I love People. Photography.

The first four on that list are what guide my soul; they define who I am. The last two are what guide my hands; they define what I do.

I Struggle.

I struggle with pride. And sometimes doubt. Struggle is what makes us Human. It connects us in the same way Love connects us. It defines us in the same way Love defines us.

Throughout my life, the images that have moved me the most have been those that capture Love and Struggle. I’ve chosen to spend my life capturing love. You are what you love. This has literal meaning on your wedding day when you and yours become one. I have the greatest job in the world because I get to be a part of, and capture forever, that amazing day. It’s an incredible honor, and a responsibility I don’t take lightly.
