Kimberly and Michael’s Wedding – St. Anne and The Crystal Ballroom – Houston, TX

FROM KIMBERLY AND MICHAEL:

Q. What was your favorite memory of the day? Kimberly:
A. My favorite memory of the day was my first dance with Michael to “You are the Best Thing” by Ray LaMontagne. Everything seemed to stand still -it was just us, in love, enjoying the perfect evening at the perfect wedding. The band sounded amazing and nothing else mattered but us.

Q. What was your favorite memory of the day? Michael:
A. My favorite memory of the day was standing at the altar and saying, “I do” to my beautiful bride.

Q. What was your favorite detail? Kimberly:
A. The groom’s cake. It was the University of Texas stadium with our picture on the Godzillatron. So cool.

Q. What was your favorite detail? Michael:
A. The unbelievable band, Emerald City. And the lighting was phenomenal. (Thank you, Bright Star!)

Q. Do you have any advice for future brides and grooms on the big day? Kimberly:
A. Relax and enjoy every minute. There is no reason to sweat the small stuff -it is nothing in the grande scheme of things. And it goes by so fast that you really have to soak it all in!

Q. Do you have any advice for future brides and grooms on the big day? Michael:
A. Similar to Kimberly… Slow down and take it all in -it goes by so fast!

Q. Funniest moment from your wedding day? Kimberly:
A. I think it has to be seeing everyone running around in sombreros, mustaches, and finger-staches. It made me really happy. And seeing Michael in a sombrero and stache. Hehehe.

Q. Funniest moment from your wedding day? Michael:
A. Forgetting I was “miked” through the whole reception for the videographer! Who knows what I said…

Q. Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Kimberly:
A. I would have remembered to dance more, eat some of my wedding cake, and visit less! But it’s a hard balance! The night was perfect!

Q. Would you change anything if you could do it all over again? Michael:
A. Not a thing.

Q. What was your favorite purchase for the big day? Kimberly:
A. “Florence”. Ha. She’s my Monique Lhuillier wedding dress. And my Louboutin wedding shoes that I HAD to have πŸ™‚

Q. What was your favorite purchase for the big day? Michael:
A. A diamond tennis bracelet to give to Kimberly. And my Longhorn cuff links.

Q. Where did you go on your honeymoon?
A. Great Exuma, Bahamas -gorgeous!

Q. Who was the florist?
A. Wedding Flowers by Lisa -she is a rockstar!

Q. Who made the cake?
A. Cakes by Gina. Brilliant artists… the groom’s cake was phenomenal!

Q. Who did your hair and make up?
A. Both were by Your Beautiful Face. Mandy was amazing and I will recommend her to anyone I know!

Q. Did you have a videographer? If so, who did you use?
A. Luxe Films. We loved Judd and Zach and cannot wait to see the finished product.

Q. Which band/DJ did you use?
A. Emerald City. The.best.band.EVER.

Q. Is there anything else you would like to share? πŸ™‚
A. Thank you thank you to Adam Nyholt & team for giving us some of the most amazing pictures we have ever seen that we will cherish for a lifetime. I can’t imagine anyone else having taken our pictures!
