Lauren and Andrew’s Engagements – Houston Engagement Photography

FROM LAUREN AND ANDREW

Q. Where did you meet?

A. Andrew & I were introduced by a mutual friend at a dinner. I knew about it, but he was tricked into going. Granted, we are no longer friends with this person, but he gave us the biggest gift of all and for that we will always be indebted to him.

Q. What was your first impression of him?

A. I knew from the moment I met him that he was the one. I was pushy because he really wasn’t interested in having a girlfriend, I lied and said that we could just be friends.

Q. What was your first impression of her?

A. She was absolutely gorgeous … will never forget the smile she gave me. It melted me.

Q. What did you do for your first date?

A. Dinner at Farrago’s Restaurant in Midtown. We’ve never been back since …

Q. When did you know he was the one?

A. I knew the exact moment after we met he was the one, as cheesy as it sounds it really was love at first sight.

Q. When did you know she was the one?

A. It didn’t take me long to figured it out either, I asked her to move in with me after our third date.

Q. How did he pop the question?

A. Niko, our dog, did it for him. He had a tag made for Niko that on one side said, “I love you” and on the other “Will you marry me?” He hung the tag and the ring on Niko’s collar. I noticed it immediately and though it was some sort of joke. It was perfect! And thankfully it was not a joke.

Q. What do you love the most about him?

A. I love that we are each other’s best friends.

Q. What do you love the most about her?

A. She is always there for me, even when I’m having a bad day.

Q. Does he have any funny quirks?

A. He literally is the dog whisperer.

Q. Does she have any funny quirks?

A. Hmm.. she really hates having her feet tickled.

Q. What is the biggest challenge you’ve faced together?

A. There were some tough times adjusting to living together. Even after six years together everyday is a learning experience.

Q. What’s the secret to your happy relationship?

A. We always argue naked!

Elizabeth’s Bridal Portraits – Brennan’s

November 17, 2010

When Elizabeth told me she wanted to take her bridal portraits at Brennan’s, I was a little nervous. I didn’t know what to expect shooting in a restaurant. She is a very talented interior designer, however, so I trusted her opinion. It turns out Brennan’s is a great place for portraits, and I LOVE what…
