Sharla’s Bridals

Sharla was our first bride of 2017!! Check out her gorgeous bridal shoot that we did last year, and then read below for an inside look at her gown shopping experience in her own words.

Who was with you throughout the process of finding your wedding dress? Mom, Aunt, Sister and Mother-in-Law

Did you know exactly what you were looking for in a wedding dress? For the most part I knew what I was looking for in a dress. It was more I knew what I didn’t want.

How many dresses/locations had you tried before you finally found the perfect dress? About seven stores with about 10 dresses at each store…

Describe the moment you realized “this is my dress.” The moment I knew it was “the dress” was not wanting to immediately take it off to try the next one. Also… everyone crying behind me was a clue.

What do you love about your dress and how does it make you feel? My dress is glamorous but also very comfortable. I could breathe and relax! We moved around a lot at my bridal portraits so it made it easy not to look as awkward. Besides the spinning in circles photos, I wrapped my train around my ankles and almost fell over every single time. Comfort was important to me on my wedding day because I spent the entire reception on the dance floor.
