Tara’s Bridals – Downtown Richmond

I was so excited when Tara chose the image on the left as her gallery wrap to display at the wedding!

From Tara-

Who was with you when you found your dress?
My Best Friend Ashley

Did you know exactly what you were looking for in a wedding dress?
Yes, I had actually looked a ton online and through tons of magazines, when I found my dress on Maggie Sottero’s website. The dress was called Poppy and it was perfect!

How many dresses/locations had you tried before you finally found the perfect dress?
I had looked at 4 other dress shops in Houston with my mom and my other best friend, Taryn, when Ash came in town to hit up my last hope for Houston – Weddings by Debbie. Beauitful shop that really made you feel welcome and special. I was picking out dresses to try on off the rack and came across one in an odd but beautiful light gold color… Nicole, the sales rep, said that I could order it in diamond white if I liked it on–sure enough it just happened to be the Maggie Sottero Poppy dress I had found online! 🙂

What do you love about your dress and how does it make you feel?
I didn’t want to take it off! I literally tried it on 6 times that day, after each other dress I would try on. I came back multiple times to try it on: when my parents came in town, when I came to look at accessories, to show my mother-in-law… any excuse to come back and wear it again. Thank God the ladies at Weddings by Debbie are so understanding!!! It had everything I wanted but didn’t look outrageous. It was the perfect dress for my outdoor/garden ceremony on Lake Travis! Soft & Romantic with an touch of vintage, slimming and perfect for my body type (short & curvy), but most of all the lacey trim–loved the trim!

I can’t wait to show you the images from their wedding in Austin!

Candice and Josh’s Wedding – The desert shoot

May 9, 2013

The day before Candice and Josh’s wedding we adventured outside of Las Vegas to a dry lake bed to get some fun pre-wedding desert photos. Since we were already in Vegas, we decided to take advantage of the cool locations and landscape! The result was pretty stellar, I think. And we had a blast, too!
