We met in Houston Texas at our first job. I was an employee and he was an intern.  We became good friends and started dating 6 months later.

What was your first impression of him?

He was nice and a good friend.

What was your first impression of her?

She is pretty and funny.

What did you do for your first date?

We were in Corpus Christi for holidays and went to a movie and Italian food.

When did you know he was the one?

When he went to my grandmother funeral.

When did you know she was the one?

When she added me on Facebook.

How did you get engaged?

It was Valentine’s Day and Ash Wednesday. I also had a sinus infection. Looked terrible. And he put some candy on the counter with medicine. I sort of got mad (lol) that he didn’t get me a card. He gets me a card every year. I look forward to it. So I started watching will and grace drinking champagne. He went in the patio with the boys to cook steak and asked me to come outside. After 30 mins I went stomping outside like what?! My show is on and he handed me a card. Inside the card said look at Bentley’s collar and there was my ring!

My grandmother’s death, my job loss.
